MARC JACOBS: UNSEEN by Robert Fairer

Marc Jacobs is the epitome of downtown New York cool. In the early 90s, he was the enfant terrible, making fashion history — and getting fired — for his "grunge" collection as head of womenswear at Perry Ellis, before rising to full-fledged icon status as Creative Director at Louis Vuitton and his own brand. A playful trickster, a chain-smoking workaholic and a lover of excess (and daisies), Jacobs has taught us that the best work doesn't have to take itself too seriously. It can still bottle lightning. We carried in our arms the not-not-heavy UNSEEN book back from the @Armani bookstore in Milan because we couldn't resist looking at it everyday. @Vogue photographer @Robert_Fairer's captures, in stunning detail, the designer's most iconic creations and behind-the-scenes moments that show models, hairdressers, stylists, makeup artists and @marcjacobs himself at their most creative, glamorous and energetic.
