PETER LINDBERGH: A DIFFERENT VISION OF FASHION by Thierry-Maxime Loriot.
I first worked with @therealpeterlindbergh about 15 years ago. He shut down Lafayette Street and turned on all his trademark moves: smoke, wind machines, and spot lights. It's a theme you see captured in his book. I had just opened Chandelier at the time of that shoot, and I was a bit intimidated working with him. But my experience, which is the same everyone has working with Peter, is that he was a consummate gentleman and warm collaborator. No ego. No Drama. A beautiful collaborative working process — which itself is a different vision of fashion. Pictured here is Peter’s image of Tina Turner & Azzedine Alaia under the Eiffel Tower in 1989. -Richard
